    Just bought a new 07 black STi and it's awesome! I'm coming from an RX8 so it's a nice upgrade in the performance dept. I can't wait untill the break-in period is done though. Here are some pics of the STi and the Blinder laser jammer that stealthily installed in the front grill area

    Did you have the blinder on the RX8 also? If so how did it work out for you? Save you from any tickets?

    I did have it on the RX8 and yes, it saved my butt many times. They use a lot of Laser in Ohio so it worked out great. I haven't encountered too much laser in Illiois but you never know. Between the V1 and Blinder, you definitely feel a lot "safer" although it obviously doesn't warrant reckless driving. The important thing to do though is once you get back down to the PSL, turn the unit off, and let the cop get a reading of your speed and everyone goes home happy.

    Thanks for all the compliments. I was just wandering, is it uncommon to have the Black with gold wheels? I haven't seen any on the street and on the subaru website, you can't configure the black with gold? Just wandering...

    I don't think it's quite as common as some other color combos but I think it is very pretty!

    Agreed...before I found my Limited, I was gonna "settle" for a Black STI on gold simply because I loved the gold rims and knew it was a rare combo...

    Unfortunately, those houses are not mine. It was just a nice spot to take a couple pics next to where I work. I've got to dal with my loans before I can think of modding
