    2004 sti or 2006 wrx

ok im new and looking into buying an impreza. i love the look of the 06 wrx, and dont mind the 04 sti. they seem to be around the same price, so i had a few questions that i think would help make my decision easier.

what is the difference in performance? and interior?

sorry if this has been posted before.

honestly, its like comparing apples to oranges. i'd go with the STi hands down. performance STi>WRX by a landslide. i love my STi interior but i havent really compared it to a 06 wrx. if you can get the top model for the same price, why not go for it? thats just my opinion though.

    Welcome.

It depends on what you want and the condition of the cars... but I would lean toward the STi.

i had this same decision and it was between an 06 WRX with 4000 miles and a 04 STI with 35000 miles. I really did like the look of the 06's but how can you not want the insane power of a STI. So i went through my options and finally decided. I went for the WRX because it was such a good deal for the car and less miles and it was just like new. Yes the power is different but i solved that problem by Stage 2.
