I love my Magna flow that's designed for Turbo cars. It still looks stock, but has a little louder rumble that lets people know that you did something to it. I paid $180 installed.

    thanks

thanks guys for the input, I like borla, but I don't like the design of the duel tip, I would really prefer the styling of a single tip, would anyone know the quietest single tip exhaust, cat back system?

There are many options, im in the same boat as you. i don't wan't a loud car.

I have not heard of this company alot, but it sounds good (there are sound clips on the website) http://www.rallyperformance.com/engine.shtml

You can also go with a prodrive one.

But if you go with any of these i would Higly recomend that you get a turboXS WRX stealth back exhaust w/ cat or w/ out cat as this is where the power is made. and the this one will mate up to ^these systems.

The COBB piece is really nice but from what I heard, it wouldn't match up to my Helix downpipe. Make sure you plan out your mods if you plan on buying a downpipe eventually.

+1 for the Cobb/Stromung single tip. It fits perfectly with my Helix DP. It has a nice soft rumble. A buddy of mine has an HKS Carbon Ti and mine is MUCH quieter. I have a catless DP so when I open it up it gets a bit louder than with a cat, but so far I've had no noise complaints or problems with the law. Another good thing is it looks somewhat stock.

Catless downpipe with the STI cat back is what I run. Nice and quite inside, no drone at highway speed, and plenty of noise out the rear for anyone following. I am in a wagon, so almost any aftermarket exhaust would drone in the car.
