Got my 06 WRX on President's Day!

Finally I got my 06 Steel Gray Metallic TR WRX last week. I originally was looking for a standard WRX but there was none available in CA, NV, OR, & AZ. Then TR really starts growing on me. The only option I want is rear spoiler. Finding the EXACT car (w/ right color & option) wasn't easy. After searching from dealer's inventory on the web, I found 1 in Turlock & 2 in Sacramento. They both are about 100 miles away from where I live. I chose the dealer in Turlock. What a mistake! Found out the car has a BIG dent on the passenger side front door! The salesman should have checked before I arrive at their dealer. He was slow as well in responding email. It took me almost a week to get the price quote from him! I came home pissed off. I emailed Maita in Sacramento (appearantly the other car in Sacramento is sold already). I received a price quote within 30 minutes. I negotiated a little bit & the deal was done. I picked up the car on the next day. Maita is one of the best Subaru dealer I've ever seen. The facility & service were not I ever expected!

Here are pics of my new ride:

I'm keeping the car mostly stock (part of the agreement w/ wife), but probably will change the wheels w/ better tires. Here some of minor first mods:

    Welcome aboard.

Gotta be honest and say that I think the Apple logos detract from the appearance of an otherwise-very clean car, though...

Congrats, but I will say me and my buddies just hammered the shi* out of our friend for six months for having one of those gay apple stickers on his car, no offense.

I know how you feel about the dealers. My local dealer was very slow to respond, and didnt even know much about the features of the car. I went with a dealer a few hours away and I had an instant price quote and they have been very accomodating.

Thanks. I had an old lowered (1 inch) Integra in the past, but it was so impractical I couldn't go into some driveways. Well... I live in San Francisco, where steep hills are everywhere. I really don't mind the RALLY look.

In fact, Apple ROCKS! I'm still using my 5-year-old Cube w/ NO problem. Can PC (Piece of Craps) last that long?

Again, I live in San Francisco, city of gay/lesbian. I have no problem w/ that.

Sure. I've had PC based servers go for years without even a reboot.
I prefer to have more flexibility in my hardware than the Macs allow. But that's a discussion for an entirely different thread..
