    newbie

Just bought a 2006 wrx thats black. I am going to pick it up on Saturday (march 4, 2006) a few hours away from where I live. I couldnt get one here, so I had to go to the nearest big city. I got an incredible deal on it (for my area) at 23,900. I am pumped to go get it and start driving! Anybody have any break-in tips?

    Grats bud.

There are a lot of break in myths, but to stay conservative... go with this: No boost over 4k RPMs for 1,000 miles. Subaru pretty much says the same thing.

Edit: Oh, and after those 1,000 miles, get a oil change. Synthetic oil.
