    New member, first mods??

From the other posts I have been reading, it sounds like COBB Accessport is the way to go right off the bat?? Is there still a 2 month wait to get one though? Also, is a momo shift knob and/or stock shift knob going to fit on a Kartboy short shift kit? I wanna make sure it will before I go ahead and order it. And bushings are a good way to go with the short throw as well right? Any feedback is greatly appreciated and I look forward to 30 instant HP as soon as I get the AP.

What year model? AP is a great start. UP is also a great start for 05's and lower (voiding STi's). Night and day performance gains are from Cobb's Stage 2. Pretty penny, though.

Your knobs will fit, and bushings should be mandatory when buying a new shifter.

My bad. I just picked up a 2002 WRX WRB with 26k miles. She's got a factory body kit, prodrive 17's and Prodrive axle-back. Ill try to get some pics up soon. Okay, so Cobb Stage 1, uppipe and short shift. Sounds like a plan to me. Thanks for the input.

Yeah you can get the AP from cobb direct or you can get one from www.gruppe-s.com
Get some pics up, and the AP makes the car a lot more fun to drive.

Congrats on the purchase! Nice mileage

Also you might want to consider a downpipe as a good first mod too.

    and welcome to The Club!!!!

The uppipe and AP are the way to go.

That's funny, that's exactly how many miles my '02 WRX had on her when I got her back in October!
