    Cobb Ap ?

I was wondering if there are any group buys going on for the 06 WRX's? I have been reading a lot and this mod seems to be the first one to do. If there arent any group buys going on, are there any websites where you could get a good deal? $645 is a hefty price tag.

    New member? Welcome!

That is probably the best you will do. I have never seen a group buy on those.

The good news? It really is worth that much. A great first mod you can build on.

You won't fine the AP any cheaper than on the Cobb website. However, like 04.SPT.WRX said, it's absolutely worth every penny.

You would be best buying from a Cobb vendor that offers free shipping. http://cobbtuning.com/links.html

There will eventually be used 2006 APs hitting the for sale posts, but you need to be damn sure the AP was "unmarried" from the origianl ECU before buying used.

USED! I've been seeing quite a few more popping up used on here and eBay.

Make sure it's unmarried. Nothing's worse than taking it out to your car only to find that you're flashing with someone else's used up APort!!

Once you buy the AP, you can load any of Cobb's maps into it. Stage 1, 2, and 2.5.

I was considering this mod also, but i am worried that it will void my warruntee... i just got my baby wed and I dont plan on voiding it till about 2 years. Also, I saw that the Cobb AP has a economical map I believe? This improves mpg? If so, that would be great cause I commute ALOT, but once again I dont want subaru to find out that I have used it. So it is a toss up of a Cobb AP or exhaust around sumemr time.
