    Nice Subie. Except for the wing (mine has one) our cars are pretty much identical. I just bought mine as well (an 02 with 48K miles).

    So far it's been an awesome car. But I've only had it for a little over a week. I wouldn't worry about her blowing up, Subarus are very durable cars. The auto trans should take your lead foot just fine as long as you don't mod the car out to heavy horsepower. Keep it mostly stock and you won't have any problems.

    Stock PSI is 13.5 and stock whp is around 170, but that varies based on vehicle, particular dyno, and conditions.

    WOW that whp is alot lower than the manfacturer's bhp, I thought with most cars theres a 10-15% difference in hp

    AWD drivetrain loss is a *****. And I would expect even less power than 170whp thanks to your power sapping automatic transmission.

    Congrats on your new car though.
