Our new 2006 WRX Limited Sport Wagon!

... in Obsidian Black. Okay I'll admit it, it IS an automatic. I know, I'll probably never hear the end of it. ... but for family reasons, brutal rush hours, and the fact my fiance will drive it too, we opted for the Auto. This was a good balance between "family car" and performance for us, we liked the styling better than the Forester XT we were also shopping for. I've driven several 04 and 06 WRX sedans all in manual and I must say, it's a nice shifting car. But I was pleasantly surprised with the auto. Needless to say, as I'm driving more for my job, it's easy on the left leg in Beltway traffic.

... but I still have my SRT-4 to have driving fun with.... at least until a buyer takes it from me. I can't wait to take the WRX onto some twisties This WRX wagon is awesome -- quick to spool, turbo lag feels less than the 04's I've driven. The interior is very nice... 140-watt stereo, 6 disc CD changer, leather steering wheel, leather interior, projector beam foglights, leather heated seats, a sunroof, heated mirrors, heated windshield wipers, cargo bin, cargo tray, cargo cover, all-weather floor mats, 60/40 split fold-down rear seats.

    Nice WRX!!

Subaru should have put the sportshift with the automatic like the Legacy's.

Yeah, that would've been great to have, I don't understand why they didn't in the first place.

very nice! WRXs are the best wagons i've ever seen... nice colour too, IMO, WRB, black and white are very sweet colours on our rides.

for comparison purposes... up here all WRXs come with all that as standard except auto dimming mirror, sunroof and leather... those are optional... no TRs are available here.
