    new to the forum gota question for you guys.

    im looking at an 04 sti white with a little under 60k miles on it for 20k, i was wondering if this is a good deal, clean title and everything, only mods on it have been intake/exhuast, i was wondering if it sounds like a "go for it"

    price-wise that is pretty average i suppose... considering miles for how old, or should i say new, it is. dealer retail should be around 22 and private party should be around 19...

    whether or not it is a good buy depends on several things... if it is an sti, you can almost bet on it being driven hard, check the carfax on it. take it to a subie shop (or one different than the place that has it for sale) to have it checked out...

    with that many miles, no warranty is included factory, yes, you can get a third party warranty for more money, but again, thats more money.

    i just checked one out at a car place just for kicks and giggles, it ran like crap, previous owner beat the heck out of it and the dealership didnt know clue one about it!

    if everything checks out good...it all comes down to how much money are you willing to spend and still maintain a life, what work (if any) are you planning on having done to it, and what work can you do yourself.

    thanks for the comments, i checked cars .com etc and compared the prices seemed good and around what it should be, it actualy has 34k on it, and its comming from a family member, normal driven hard etc but not driven crazy daisy style.
