    Question Newbie with Subie questions...

..Well I currently own a ford focus hatchback with a ton of euro parts, and Im really looking into purchasing a WRX sometime in 06. Here are some questions I have and I was wondering if any of you guys could help answer some of them.

How much on average is insurance going to cost me on this car (full coverage)?
Im 22 yr old Male, with about 2 speeding tickets, no points, no wrecks.

What should I look for when buying a used WRX?

Is it possible to find a used say 03-05 WRX (non 2.5RS) for around 18k or less?

...thats pretty much it, if anyone wants to add more info about what I should know when purchasing a used WRX, feel free to let me know.

Yes you can find a used WRX for that price. I've seen 02-04 for as low as 14K. Insurance wise, depending on who you have it will increase. Buying a new car will be cheaper than getting a used one insurance-wise. I think at 22 I was paying ~$190-230/month on insurance with AAA and I had 2 speeding tickets and 1 accident.

In my opinion, if your looking for a used WRX, make sure there are no mods on it to avoid any problems. Otherwise Subaru's are super easy to maintain. I think the hardest thing is replacing the sparkplugs every 70K.
