    Talking Got my new WRX!

After hemming and hawing about what I was going to get I ended up with an 06 WRX TR in Steel Gray. Most definitely the tightest car I've ever owned! I'm still getting used to driving stick, but so far I am in love...

Any suggestions on how to get the dealer decals/plaques off of the car without hurting the paint?

I did it with a blow dryer and a soft plastic paint spackle thing my dad had laying around. All you need the plastic thing for is getting the letters started coming off, just make sure you do it slowly and everything should be copasectic.

if you still have any residue, use goo-gone, that will work

Use the hair dryer to heat it, and then using dental floss behind the badge in a sawing motion. Worked great for me!

Goo gone works great for the residue

Grats on the car your going to love it.

Great choice on the color, its my favorite. I've seen a lot of threads about removing decals but I never bothered reading them. I've heard a cheese grinder works well. j/k Congrats on the ride. Any pics?

Congrats on the new car, and yeah, goo-gone works great, just make sure you have a hair dryer or something to heat it up, or you will end up putting alot of time into it, (yea i debadged in 30 degree weather )
