    Gotta love the newbs

Yeah, I'm joining yet another forum and starting out as a newb. I currently have a 97 Accord but that's being sold, and I'm getting an '06 WRX. That's why I joined. Anyway, I hope to learn a lot about the car as I did with my Accord. I was part of AccordTuner.com and I learned a lot from that, but mainly a lot from working on the car to death myself trying to make things look better and repairing as I go. You always learn from your mistakes. So anyway, I glad to be part of this forum and looking forward to being harassed, (HEHE).

Well, let me be the first to welcome you to ClubWRX! I too came from an Accord background, so I wouldn't worry too much about getting flamed for that. Got pics of your old Accord? Only after the pics can we flame you (RICE?) and when you get your 06 WRX we will want pics of that too! Once again, welcome, and remember that search is your friend!

    :Edit:

I can see that I wasn't the first after all........

Well, I didn't think that the Accord was too bad actually. Don't care for the decals, but very clean for the rest of it. You will have fun with the WRX. Are you planning any mods yet? Wheels? Exhaust? When are you planning on getting the 06?

Wow, if that's "almost rice" I'd hate to see what you consider true rice.

    Rice?
Primered, a lot of DIY Modified Exteriors, 14" rims or smaller or steelies, also driving around with the aftermarket bumpers 1/2 gone and having an APC sticker on your car is the biggest rice of all.

I'm getting a Brand New '06. Test drove one and fell in love! The first thing I'm getting on it is HIDs. I can't stand Halogen anymore. I have had HIDs for over 2 years now on my Accord and I'm hooked. Next is gonna be the exhaust or the stereo. I can't live without Bass and MP3 CDs. Thinking of rims but that's a little later, but I can get rims and tires friggin cheap. 18" with tires for like $800 or less. I really wanna go more for the engine but I don't what is what on it yet, and what will really give the car more HP, and if anything is compatible from the '02-'05 either.

I would say mods for just looks but thinking it's gonna go faster. Just mods for the exterior I would consider a show car.

Rice is mostly in appearance. Your engine bay doesn't look bad.

Minus the wing, graphics, hood and paint the brakes a different color and it would be a good looking ride.
