    Hi from Brisbane Australia

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to say hello, I've found your forums to be a fantastic source of information which is hard to come by on local forums.

I own an MY05 STI and have recently bought a USDM 2.5l motor from a wrecker to rebuild. I own a workshop (Mercury Motorsport) and plan to build the car as a demonstration of what our workshop is capable of. The goal for my car will be between 300-350kw at the wheels.

Look forward to discussing things on here with all of you in the future.

    Cameron

Photography is my second hobby, so there'll be plenty of pics.

We're going to be doing a fair bit of work on the intake manifold, not sure whether its just going to be a re-work of the current manifold with a single throttle body, or if we're going to go two tb's. Things like plumbing for the intercooler also have to be taken into consideration.

I'm going to use a custom made turbo from MRT here in australia, they're getting a comfortable 300kw/400whp out of them presently in everyday tune mode. They've had good results with slightly different pistons also. Headwork, cams, sleeves, plenty to take into consideration.

Usual suspension work will also be done along the way.
