Also the TR is missing the STI side skirts, has a different dash and I think thats it.
Different dash? Really? What is different, I've never noticed...

Its really just the radio area I believe. The HVAC dials are different too. The TR pretty much has the older interior.

I think what he meant by different dash is that on the limited and standard wrx you get the 6 disc player which does look different than the single disc, and those models have the auto climate control which i believe is 2 large silver dials.

The TR has a single disc player and the 3 standard looking temp control knobs.

That clears it up. I knew about those differences, but his post made me think the dash was physically different.

Sorry about that. Its just that center stack that is different.

Not a bad price. Are you financing over 60 months or 72 months?

I'll be getting an '06 TR model in the next 2 months or so. Will put at least 7K down at signing with no negative equity to carry-over. I'm thinking of financing for 60 months to keep my payments super low as my wife and I bought our first home this year...

I'm financing for 72 months, unfortunately.

I was at a point with the Focus where I was losing so much money everyday and I was afraid to keep it for much longer....so this payment is actually lower than what I was paying on my Focus (I was paying more than the monthly...). I've heard of people getting better deals on their WRXs, but given the large amount of negative equity I had and the local economy, I couldn't get much better. Living in the NE, right before winter sets in, I'm asking for it. If I bought the car while I was still living in Houston, I know I could have gotten a better deal.

Don't get me wrong, I wish the payment was lower, but I feel the car is worth it. Well worth it so far.

Wow, that was a pretty healthy payment. I don't feel so bad now...I guess I just got used to my SVT's $278.11 payment at 0% interest.
