running costs of WRX STi?? MPG??

    Hi all,

Im new and have come here for some advice......Im looking at buyin an imprezza WRX STi on an 54 plate.....It has lots of Pro Drive mods on it!!........Im doin some research into the running costs of one.

Everyone i come accross says the runnning costs are high! I currently run a BM 330 Ci Sport which gives me 23.3 MPG which is a mix of town and A road driving.

Im all too often hearing figures of 10MPG on a Subaru!! Is this true?

i average 24per gallon in town and on a good drive around 28+ on the freeway, w/ lots of motor mods and good tuning these numbers arent that hard to come by. or you could just keep your foot out of the boost and bump up the numbers.

Last thing you want to consider

    Dude,

To be 100% honest with you, if you are thinking about gas mileage as a major factor in your buy/no buy decision, this car isn't for you.

Mileage suck$ (especially if you do a lot of city stop-n-go driving.) Premium gas suck$. Insurance ROYALLY suck$.

Don't get me wrong, I love my car but my first thought is "***** it" when I have to open my wallet for these expenses.

If you want to play, you have to pay.
