Used wrx?

hey whats up,

I'm new to this site, and I am very impressed. I currently own a 99 2.5rs, which is a phenomenal car. I have owned it for 2 years and I think its' time for an upgrade. I found an 02 wrx with 80k miles, in perfect mechanical condition, flawless inside and out for 13,999. Is this a steep price to pay for a wrx with 80k? If I do purchase it, will it likely last a long time without any major repairs?

That seems steep, and I say this for two reasons. First, the kbb value for that car in excellent condition - and that's a hard classification to get - is $2000 less than that,. Second, and this is shameless self-promotion,I have an 03 with 31K for 16,500, also perfect mechanical condition with new tires, upgraded stereo, sub, etc.
