i'm sure the 08 redesign will be much better than the Evo X...then again, i don't care for how the Evo X concept looks at all. i'd rather have an 04-05 STi, or 06-07 STi - end of story.

Wow, gj stealing the BMW M3's looks from the side Mitsu****si. Not only does it look like pieces from other cars, it lost what I actually liked about the looks of the current Lancer EVO.

Additionally, I think the proto GT-R is FUGLY. The one in 2001 was actually half decent, and now they added weird C pillars and other bizzarre twists and turns, and an even stranger front end.

Subi for life. Plus I'm sure Mitsu won't be left without competition once Subi rolls out their new platform by `08. Just a matter of time before the Imprezzas will be mastered in all areas of performance and still cost 20k less than comparable vehicles. IMO.

Lets play 'Find the Mitsu' shall we? (of course I know you can tell which is which but ffs still)

...effing pathetic....the C-pillars, the crease running along the door handles, the rear tire well arch, the rear bumper and roof contour are almost exactly identical. Wheres the originality and creativity these days so that cars stand apart from others? Oh well, thats right, I own a Subaru.

Good observation. When I first saw the next Gen Evo I thought "Intersting...looks pretty good", but there was something that irked me about it that I couldn't quite put my finger on. You hit it on the head here though. It looks like a BMW. At least they stole the more pure style rather than Bangle's "flame" lines...which I am not a fan of at all.

Agreed, Bangles 'flame' lines disgust me, and each year it gets worse, and BMW loses a little bit more out of my heart. Whats sad is to see other companies that are actually trying to do very similar designs but w/o the most obvious traits.

I have a friend with a 325is (`96) and till this day it still looks just as beautiful than ever.

I just hope Subi's new lead designer doesnt take the company down the same path as Bangle.
