    Which one should I get?

I can't decide between a used 05 wrx sti under 20,000 or a brand new 06 wrx. I like performance more and how the wrx sti interior looks like. But I also like the changes of the 06 wrx but not really the interior. Which one do you guys think I should get.

Obviously the STi has a lot more power and potential but it is always nice to have the brand new car as well. I would say it all depends on if you have a daily driver or not. If you have a different daily driver then get the STi, if not get the WRX.

What are the prices your are looking at. That will be a determining factor. If they are close, definitlely the STi. If the STi is over 5K more, than maybe the WRX. Just my opinion though.

If they are only 1 year apart, I'd go with the STi. I got a wrx thinking, "STi might be overkill as a daily driver. A wrx is good enough. It's plenty fast..." Now, a day doesn't go by that I regret not getting the STi, hence the countless hours I spend on this forum trying to get my wrx to perform even better.

So yeah, unless you're really fond of the new body styling or looking for more of a family car with a few more comfort amenities like heated seats and slightly better gas efficiency, get the STi.

    +1 STi.

Dont forget about the insurance. STi's is a lot higher.

You dont like the '06 interior? Its identical to the '05 WRX except for Leather and the clock is slightly different (says "passenger airbag").

Where are you from? I wish I could find a 05 sti for under 20k here in socal. There are not too many 05 wrx's for that price. Most are a little over 20k.
