    Thumbs up Got my subbie!

2002 WRX in black w/ 5 speed tranny
    36k miles
MINT condition, I've been looking at used wrx's for over a year and this is the nicest one I've seen so far. You can eat off the engine bay.

Yes my parents paid for it. Yes its MY car. My dad put down 12k and my mom picked up the payments. We paid 16,900 for it and it came out to 19k after tax/title. This car is a beast and I love it. I am getting rims for christmas, and installing my competition car system in it once I start my job at Circuit City. Later this week I will be getting Limo tint in the back and 20% up front. The system is all alphasonik 800 series(small company based out of cali, make GREAT products). 2 900rms watt 12in subs and 2 class d 1000 rms watt amps with a 1.2 digi capaciater and 2 6x9 3 way mids. Also, I will be installing my old alpine 9831 cda reciever in it to boot.

    Welcome...although...

Miles are just a number, go drive the thing! I'm at 75k+ and counting, and love every second.

Nice car bro. Very good find on low miles. My 2002 Wrx just hit 57,000 miles but it hasn't had any problem to date. Be very careful with the car and get used to it. If your going to get a system I have one suggestion, get a bandpass box that opens through the passthrough. If you try any other boxes the trunk and everything on the inside will rattle like crazy. I know this because I had a ported enclosure with a dynamatted trunk and I couldn't cure the rattles. I have 2 Jl 12W3V's hooked up to a JL 500/1 in a custom bandpass and the subs actually face each other. It sounds awesome now.

Yea, it took me a couple of weeks trying to learn where the engagement is. I was getting frustrated too, while I was at the process. Take time, because it is a little different.
I might be back in the market for the new STI sedan!
