    Question Driving position

I'm having a problem getting comfortable in my rex. When I'm close enough to depress the clutch, the steering wheel is too close. I'm about 5' 7". Anyone have an idea how to get comfortable, or do I have to keep pushing the clutch with my toes?

i'm right at 6'0 and i too noticed that the pedals are pretty far away in comparison to the wheel, but i've noticed that on most japanese cars i've owned or driven. after comming out of that huge f-150 cab it took a little while to get used to the wheel as close as it is (and it's not really that close), but it's becoming more comfortable now.
how're you liking your new ride so far? these things are cool as hell.

    driving position

I love my new san remo red, and it drives great. I just am having a prob getting comfortable in the Performance seats. My 2000 2.5rs had the greatest seat. The wrx seats are much stiffer. If you are racing, that's fine, but 99% of my driving is normal, everyday driving. It also feels like the seat should extend further under the thigh.

Raise the seat and recline a little more, that's what I do.

I have an 05 STi and I had the same problem (5'8"). Also, I had to play with the steering wheel tilt a little bit to get it in a comfortable position.

yeah being 5'2 5'3 theres no middle your ethier too close or far.
it does work if u raise the set some.
i have the seat rasied and the steering wheel is even w/ the dash at the top.
sitting closer does make you have more control so it does take a while to get used to.

oh and i hate people adjusting everything. im like just slide the seat back dont mess w/ my mirrors and thats why hardly NO ONE drives but me.
