    Good deal?

    hey guys and girls,

Im new to this forum and just recently bought a "new" 2k5 WRX sedan with only 195 miles on it for 24.2K out the door in Central Cali (Turlock- for those who wanna know). I drive it mainly in San Jose/San Fran and so I was curious if i got a good deal or was hosed. Thanks for the info guys and so far im loving this forum.

I guess it depends on what options you got with it. I suppose that its not bad, but you probably could have gotten into an '06 for the same price. Did you get the premium package? I picked up mine four months ago for 24.7K, but I got almost every option that I could, plus extended warranty.

Thanks for the feedback peoples. I dont plan on doing any major performance upgrades at the moment, but im really thinking on swapping out the rims for 18s. Don't know what kind yet though so time to read the "official wheel thread" sticky.

6 cd and alloys are standard.

I didnt know that the upgraded security system had an immobilizer. I thought only the STi had that.

You probably could of gotten a '06 for that price.

I paid $24,850 for an '05 WRX Premium Package, Boost Gauge and STi ShortShifter back in December. Now '05's are cheap since they depreciate a full years worth the second you drive off the lot.

I would have gotten a 2K6, but it wasn't available yet when I went to go look at Subarus. On top of it, I had to get a car ASAP, because my other cars engine died and i was on a rental car. My parents said either u get a car, or 3 days from today, we are getting you a used Taurus. I didn't even wanna picture that alternative....
