    Fuel Questions

    Do I really need to run 91 or higher octance in my 2004 WRX? It basically stock with an aftermarket muffler and a BOV that im taking off soon. I bought the car this way. It has 10,800 miles on it.

    For the WRX, its highly recommended for the longevity of the car to use premium fuel, i.e. 91 or higher octane. It even says in the manual that you can temporarily use lower octane, but only until you can find a 91 octane gas station. I know it hurst the wallet..but you paid for a performance vehicle, and it needs performance quality fuel.

    run regular through your car and you'll definitely be able to feel the difference and want to put 91+ back in ASAP.
