Stage 2 SRT-4 would be faster than a stock STi and probably Stage 1 STi, and well maybe Stage 2 STi too. (race him in anything else than from a roll though and the tables will turn ) Sorry that doesn't help much but I don't know a lot about SRT-4s, what is included in the stage 2 for them? I think I remember something about stage 2 SRT-4s in high 12s/low 13s?

Since a stage 2 SRT 4 can varry depending on the supplier, it's hard to quantify. The STi will get beat in all except when it is Stage 2, and even then there is a good chance the SRT4 will take it from a roll. Hard to say.

Mopar stage 2 is bigger injectors and new pcm. It could also have ''toys'' which can run race gas and spray the intercooler. 265 whp 280 wtq, then 280 whp 300 wtq rated by mopar.
    Used to have stg4 wrx. stuck w/ stg0 srt4

^^ The STi rates 316 torque to the wheels and 277 whp from Cobb. Im sure the weights of both cars are much different though.

a stage 2 SRT-4 will stand no chance against a tuned UTEC or ECUTEK stage 2 STi.

Cobb stage 2 would be very close though.

    regards,
    Steve

I believe a well tuned Stage 2 SRT4 would stand a very good chance against a Utec or Ecutek tuned Stage 2 STi.

What would you say is the average difference in between a tuned STi and a Cobb STi (both stage 2 of course). Just curious what numbers you are using for baseline.

this is such a general question ( i know you didnt mean it to be) but its just all depends on type of EM and srt has toys or not. I know i have seen a video of a stage 2 srt4 vs cobb stage 1 sti and sti wins everyway possible. But like they said, it all matters. I still think a best tuned stage 2 sti will beat a best tuned srt4. Sti's tuned by utec at stage 2 get to 300whp and even more torque (not sure how much). Add fmic to a sti and it actually helps keep the torque high up through a much better rpm range

here look at this (this shows crank torque on one side and crank hp on other side)
1st one is a stage 2 sti and it is on 91 octane reflash

    2nd one is a stage 2 sti +a fmic+ a tune..400crank torque and 380hp which is about 320whp and 340wtrq!!

i'm basing the SRT stage 2 off of the mopar numbers above. I know the SRT-4 is lighter, but by how much? anyone know?
