I've got 14,000 in 4 months on my new LGT. I'll likely easily go over 20K in the first 10 months.

Wow. I'm brand new here, been reading for a long time. Just bought a new 2005 WRX on August 18th.

I put 1000 miles on the first week, which was nice because then the break-in period was over, but bad because that is pretty normal driving for me.

I bought a 100,000/5-yr warranty for the car since I drive so much. Right now (9/7/2005) I have almost exactly 2000 miles on it. I just moved about 20 minutes closer to my job so hopefully that milage will stop rackin' up so quickly. I was driving 50 minutes to and from work and then driving quite a bit FOR work. I'm a field engineer right now, so I go to lots of different sites in my WRX.

Anyways I absolutely LOVE the car, only problem so far is a slight rattle in the driver's door when I go down bumpy roads, but I treat the car like its made of glass, so it can't be because of misuse.

Hopefully by the end of this year I'll have less than 15k on it. We'll see!!

At the rate that I am going, I think somewhere around 7500 miles the first year. Maybe less if the price of gas continues to go up.

I have put >20,000mi on my STi.

I am thinking of loaning the car to Andrew to cut down on mileage.
