'Scuse me while I whip this out...

Greetings from Northern Virginia. After having my eye on getting a WRX for a while, I finally picked up my '05 WRX Wagon two weeks ago and have not looked back. Well, actually, I'm 200 miles away from completing the break-in, so I haven't looked back while faithfully remaining under 4k rpm.

It's funny, now I can't wait for my wife to ask me "to pick something up from the store." I've never looked so forward to errands. I even eagerly anticipate commuting to and fro work (which is kind of retarded considering the traffic around here). That wagon never fails to put a smile on my face when I go around a tight turn.

And let's face it, everyone loves the hood scoop. Everyone!

I wanted to say thanks for all the great content - y'all have helped me straterigize oil change frequency, air filter upgrades, and detailing options. I'm probably staying basically stock for a while, since I'm new to tuning and mods. Still, I love reading about what everyone has done to their WRX's.

Number of times I've been asked if I got an STi: 3

Welcome! I just picked up my 05 wagon 3 weeks ago. I broke 1000 miles last night, actually had a nice little 2nd gear run. Have fun with your car.

Welcome! An STi wagon? OK then. I find myself taking the long way to the store quite a bit. Like the way it handles? Wait until you get good tires on it.

I still don't understand how anyone could think a bugeye or a wagon is a sti, then again, not everyone is a car enthusiast.

Congrats on the wagon. There are times when I REALLY wish I had the wagon. A non folding back seat sux on the sedan. Good luck with the car and have fun.

I just recently bought an 05 WRX wagon also. I love it. Despite the Hello Soccer Dad comments from people, I am still in love with it.
