I just got a used 02 wrx sedan and im very pleased with it. The only thing i couldnt find manuel trans. in my price range so i had to get an auto. I was wondering if i should still mod it or is that just a stupid thing to do considering its auto.

welcome to the club. Get uppipe and downpipe, those are cheap, and they will reduce a lot of turbo lag and give you some power on your auto.

Welcome! Mods are always good, but once you start, you want to just keep getting more. The exhaust mods will be great to do, it will make some good power, and engine management will help tons with any tranny. There is an auto tranny section here on the forum where there is lots of good info.
