there should be a few wagons still around, but act quickly as we have only 3 new WRXs left:

white premium package sedan, 5 speed
    Crystal gray 5 speed wagon
    crystal gray automatic sedan

i am sure most dealerships wont have that many left, but we sell an exceptional amount of those in our area too so we get low fast, especially since there arent any more coming until late august when the 2006s arrive...

2004 and 2005 pre-owned models seem to be easy for us lately thought..we have a 2004 used and 2005 used wrx already...had two others but sold them already..

Thats a pretty long commute! You sure that you want to put that many miles on your WRX (when you get it)? Not that there is anything wrong with driving that far, but for a long commute like that, I would rather have something that gets a bit better gas mileage.

I would consider a hybrid with the mileage you put on the car.

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.

btw what does a stock STi get for gas mileage? can you even break the 300 mile mark on a full tank of 93?

Having owned a WRX, STi, and now a Legcy GTi, have you considered a stripped verison (cloth seats, etc) of the Legacy? It gets the best mileage of the 3, can be just as easily modified, and rides much better with more room. They are dealing now, but then, they are doing so on every 05 anyway. Just a thought. I'm Cobb stage 2 (map flash, TBE) and I still easily get 26-27 mpg.

As for an STi getting 300 to a tank..yes it is possible....barely. Been there and done that.
