Congrats on the new car man, I'm another ex-honda owner. 2000 Civic Si coupe, built B18C1 swap and a whole lotta nitrous. Loved that car but got stolen in earlier this year.
Not to get off track, but what is the phenomenon behind debadging?
I am afraid of someone stealing my integra. having so much money into a honda is scary nowdays. let alone a wrx. Anyways, thanks for all the nice comments people.
I too come from Honda's. It got pretty bad around here quick with having nice Honda's. I had a heavily modified EP3. I still have a 00 si and work at honda so I am still deep in them. I love my WRX tho! Congrats on the car, good luck with it and happy modding (whatever your modding)

scroll down a bit after the pictuers, therse a long post on how to do it.
The previous owner did it for me, but what you basically do is use fishing line or dental floss and try to run it as close to the paint as possible on the badges.
After that, you can either use some rubbing compound or heat up the adhesive using a hair dryer, it should come off after that.
my other recommendation would be to wax/etc. etc. the area after. Regardless of what method you take the "ghosting effect" (subaru shadow or left over) will most likely occur, it is hardly noticeable, only if you look really close.
it would be cool to get ghost emblems painted in, that would become like a new fad though if someone big did it. then it would suck because everyone would be doing it....Originally Posted by lugee
