My very first car- 2005 WRX !!!

Sup guys, my name is Luke and I just got my very first car... a 2005 WRX !!! I'm in love with it! When it comes to cars I'm ignorant( still learning to drive a standard) so hopefully I can learn a lot at this forum. I dont know what else to say, so I geuss I'll post a picture

welcome- a new rex for your first ride? LUCKYYYY! This is a great forum, lots of nice guys and tons of good reliable tech info. I recommend using the search before making any mods to your ride. There is a lot good info on first mods here.

Congratulations that's a great first car (my first car) I like the Wrx's without the spoiler . Just be careful because it is a fast car and be smart (I know from experience ). You will learn a lot about the car on this forum. I also recommend using the search button before adding any mods. Starting performance mods: if it doesn't deny your warrenty could be downpipe,uppipe, and some kind of engine modification (Ecutek, Utec, or Accessport)
A great suspension mod would be a rear swaybar.

mods.. lol. First I think I need to get the windows tinted, New Tires, and New gunmetal/dark wheels(maybe some 17s). I will get some more pictures of the car tommorow. Any good websites on cleaning kits/techniques ?

Oh- you'll want to mod.- you'll see... It starts off with something simple, maybe a cattback or something like that, before ya know it your at stage 4 and wanting more...as far as the cleaning kits/etc.. check out the exterior and apperance section of the site.. remember that the search button is your friend..

Sorry for the double post. I saw a picture of a wrx woth gauges side window panel, near the driver, I thought those looked really cool, and that first mod thread said it was good to have extra gauges. Can anyone tell me what these are called( correct name) so I can serach for a thread about them? or maybe a link to a particular thread or even a website...

w/out seeing the gauges it's hard to tell what they are. The unit that the gauges sit in is called a A-Pillar gauge pod. I just put one in my car, and they are very cool. head over to the cockpit and interior section of the site- lots of good info about this there.

If you have any questions instant message me or private message, id be glad to help you out. where do you live? The gauges you saw are...theyre "A pillar pods" and can hold either 2 or 3 gauges. they can be found at most of the sponsors sites.
