    Another new bugeyed wagon owner

    Hey everyone,
I've been into turbo, AWD DSM's since I was about 11, but needed a car with more reliability/ a warranty for college, so here I am! Proud new owner of a PSM 2003 WRX wagon. Totally stock and owned by a middle-aged couple who moved into a Legacy since the WRX was "too sporty." Great for me I'm really pumped about it, quicker than I thought it'd be.

It's totally stock, I'll just do some gauges at first, then uppipe/downpipe/Accessport when I get the funds. The only thing I'm worried about is launching on this trans, I still haven't gathered up the guts to try it out.

It does have heated black leather seats though, so that's the only thing I can brag about. Heh, good to be here, looks like a good community, a lot like dsmtalk, but for the scoob.

Welcome and congratulations on going with a bugeye in such immaculate condition, you're going to love it. Sounds like you've been a member of the AWD/Turbo community for a while now, so you'll feel right at home with the scooby.

yeah, I landed a pretty good deal on it considering. She was asking 16 thousand, and I got her down to 15.4. It has 33k on it and it was owned by a middle-aged lady who said it was too sporty, plus the fact that it has leather made me take it for that price.

And yeah, i've been going through the DSM forums for years now, gathering info since i thought I'd eventually get one, but I'm happier with the WRX, and these forums are also a wealth of info. Glad I found this one.

This forum is best in terms of information and overall demeanor (we aren't as immature as some other message boards out there).

Your wagon looks nice...the piping are good mods but you may want to think about engine management lest the CEL comes on. Or just get the cheap CEL fix and have fun beating "faster looking" cars.

    WELCOME!

Yeah, it really depends on what deals pop up. I'm just doing gauges now while I get used to the car, then if any used pipes pop up locally I'll do them. I'm pretty much saving up for an Accessport though, so if I get the money, that'll be the first mod.
