I am beginning to think I will buy an Aero MSRP: $27,645 plus $1,950 for fancy wheels and a sun roof.
While the rebate is going on, has anyone recieved the rebate, AND negotiated a lower sticker price?

Why not go with the mazda 3? Those cars are muuuuch nicer than the Aero, with just about the same room (5 door) and alot cooler looking dash. The wife was thinking about buying one and I took it for a test drive. I was impressed by the interior, although it seems they geared the car to be a 'tuner' car, it wasn't half bad. Plus you get more power with the 3 than the Aero, and it's cheaper. I just heard a radio commercial for a Mazda 3 going for under 13k.
I think mazda still has some QC problems to work out in the 3...i actually was going to buy a 3s...I was gonna get it for around $20,700 out the door....I could've had a base 9-2x Aero for about that as well. Basically, the saab has 2 years free maintenance, is a HELLUVA lot faster and fun to drive, has AWD, has side airbags standard, has STI steering, and, will have a better resale value overall...plus, I believe the 9-2x has a lot more cargo room that a 3s hatchback.
The 3 is a great car, but the Aero is in a completely different class. Plus, i really hate the mazda dealer experience.

vs.
150 hp/and ~117? lb torque...
a 9-2x linear has more power than that...
Maybe you were talking about the suzuki aero?

+1, I don't know what VVRX is talking about.
I believe the linears are being discounted the same as well...which means out the door for around $17-18k...not bad at all....

I just wen't on suzuki's website, and the aero has 155hp vs the Mazda3 160hp.
