A trick to make getting the bushings in easy, is to use the mounting stud to push against the bushing while you apply force to the arm, pops right out. Putting new ones in, just use the bolt w/o teh plate to get the threads going, and the remove the nut and replace the plate, tighten down. 20mins total time including jacking up the car

WOW! That sucks!! I think mine would have taken forever if I didn't do it the way I did. I guess I would really reccomend that method now. We're talking about the same bushings right? The two round ones that connect to the linakge?

i have the tmw short shifter that i bought from my local performance shop and its top quality! Reduced throws by 40% and only about a 20-30 minute install. I know a few people with the perrin short shifter and they hate it. I havent heard any complaints about the kartboy though

    Ahhhhhh,

That definitely explains the discrepency then! I think I'll pass on doing that one for now then, I've had enough difficult installs recently!

    Thanks for clearing up
