Hi everyone just wanted to introduce myself, tomorrow i am picking up my 05 sti. It is white with gold wheels. They had a blue one there but where i live i see so manyblue ones so i thought i would be different. I am getting rid of my 05 s4 for the sti. I had one but that was bought back because of steering issues the second one i got was the new body style which i did not like. i am getting rid of this car because i feel the sti is a more of a pure drivers car. i loved my s4 but the sti is more me. well just wanted to introduce myself i will post pics of my new car tomorrow. ps i am outside phila pa and hope to see some of you all at meets arround here and stuff like that. Until tomorrow here is a pic of my old car.![]()

Good choice. The STi will not give you anywhere near the headaches an S4 is capable of. White with Gold rims is definately the best combo (if you got the gold rims). I just sold my STi but it was a blast to drive, and it is very easy to make extra power with.

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.

I agree! I just got my new STi on 4/2 saturday. I've been driving it every evening after work so far and have about 350 miles already of city/suburb driving. 650mi more until i can really gun it.
I think you made the right choice as far as kind of car. Quality issues are the reason i went with Subaru rather than a mitsu Evo. Although I am a little surprised that audi has quality issues, and i'm more used to hearing about my friends' VWs being cruddy in quality.
Enjoy the rides!![]()
