On my 2009 Impreza outback sport I happened to look at the coolant overflow tank and noticed it's about an inch and a half above the max line when fully cold. Is this problematic and worth draining a bit out?
Also, as far as headgasket failure goes, how often does it happen to engines with 190k+ miles on them? Girlfriend's 09 Impreza had the valve cover gaskets replaced awhile ago but not headgaskets and she noticed the car was a bit low on coolant this morning. We topped it off with the subaru stuff and are keeping an eye on it.
