I think it was very entertaining. I thought the drifting was fun to watch, the cars were very nice (tho maybe too flashy) and the characters were decent.
here is my opinion:
The Fast & The Furious > Tokyo Drift > 2 Fast 2 Furious

No friends!? I know VT is small but i mean lol. good to have ya. Oh throw some color into that F4 signature, it looks like it came from an IBM email. lol
Location: Cape Cod, MA (Hyannis area, specifically)
Car: 2006 STi Rally Blue
Profile: 22 yo mechanical design engineer. Got hooked on the STi during college, and gave myself a hell of a graduation present. Only 2 months old, so no mods yet, but they're coming! The most painful 2 weeks of my life: miles 8 - 1000.
As far as Tokyo Drift, I just saw it about a week ago... the garage drift scenes were unreal, but I wasn't a huge fan of them taking a sweet AWD car (evo) and turning it into a drifter. The RB26DETT in the '67 Mustang fastback is kinda sweet though. Take some time to read about what they actually had to do to it to make it a drifter. http://cars.ign.com/articles/710/710765p1.html
And yes, I did go driving after I saw the movie and all I could think about was "what if I throw the DCCD to the rear and pull the e-brake around this turn?" However, I'll do that in a parking lot before I do it on a backroad.
I wonder how many ricers tried to go drifting after seeing that movie :rotfl: I know I went that friday that it was released and everyone was peeling out and slideing around the parking lot while the security was just chillen watching them.
hey new england F4, im Mike, from Gardner, Ma ( for now...in process of finding somewhere else), im 23 and have a bugeye wrb wrx. happy to be here and a part of this.
So far for me my 3rd and last co-op (paid internship) is going well here at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown. I work in private client wealth management, basically we set up money market, mutual fund, trust, and chartitable accounts, etc for really really rich people. lol.
Did anyone see the Pats game?
<~~~ Huge Broncos fan!
I was at the game, got to park for free, then sell beer w/ my Fraternity (fundraising) for pregame and then through the 1st quarter, realized I was up $128 in tips so i cashed out, called Billy (Masterlok) who hooked me up w/ a seat. So I threw my Orange Tatum Bell jersey on and sat down to watch the game. I left after the 3rd quarter to beat the traffic and just listened to the game on Sirius.
Besides that, this week is Rush for Northeastern. Its a week where we meet potential guys that want to join the Fraternity. Monday we had wings, dj, and Madden 06/ Entourage playing in the quad. Last night we all went to Jillian's to play pool (chapter pays for it, so free for us!), tonight is some football in the fens, or on a field in the area, tomorrow we go to The Pour House Bar/Grill on Boylston for food and then Friday is the last night of rush and is only for the guys we want. Its a fun week.
I get to save all my money. Oh boy does it rule. Buying a house in the spring so need to save for the downpayment, hence the lack of the STi.
On a good note, we bought an LS1 and tremec T-56 out of an 01 Camaro SS that we are swapping into our '72 Corvette, so I will have to bring that to some meets (will be cooler than the 3 I swear, although the 3 is so fast it shouldn't be street legal)
Yeah it's gutted and I swapped in an SR20DET which I am running backwards so I can run it in FWD. Pretty unique setup. It runs on hydrogen and heineken.

actually, on that subject, why does a validation at the Pru, Copley and Landmark Center only deduct like $4? In NY at the Westchester Mall when you pay to park and get validated it is FREE.
