I can handle the looks, what saddens me is the trend toward de-tuning the suspension/brakes. It took us almost five years to finally get the 4/2 pots (that the rest of the world got day one) and in a flash they're gone. It took us that long to get front aluminum control arms for the sedan (that the rest of the world got day one) and they are gone too. I'll bet if someone gets a chance to crawl underneath- the front aluminum lateral links are gone too.

I understand the fact that they have to meet a certain price point, but why at the sacrafice of performance?

I've suggested this for years, but why does Subaru not offer a "sports" package? Have the base model that will appeal to many, but offer some performance upgrades that many would gladly pay a little more for- I really think they are missing the boat.

When does the STi debut?

Sorry man, but in my tenure on this site, I've read countless comments about the "crappy" interior of the WRX. I welcome a nicer, roomier interior.

Meh, we don't know anything about how an '08 will perform yet. Some Nasioc'ers are saying the new brakes (LGT equivalents, I guess) are actually better than the current system. And handling...well who knows? It's new suspension all around. So far I like it a lot, but I won't really know until official reviews start coming out and I test drive it.

You must have misread my post.

I said that handling and braking were a whole different story in relation to Ray saying the car can compete with an STi with very little money. This is true, it can compete with the STI for very little money in regards to power, however, as I said, braking and handling are a whole different story.

The car may brake and handle better than the previous wrx though.

You are a god among men. Good vid. The hood looks slick from the front, but I dunno if I like it from the side. There's a 3rd window on the sides... weird lookin. I miss the sculpted fenders

I agree with Ray and others that actually seeing it in all person is a different story. It's not a bugeye that's for sure, but, I really don't think its all bad.
