As some of you may know, I help run and co-created a very small (for fun/side project), car enthusiast website/blog last year and it's grown slowly and steadily over that time. Apparently, we are legitimate enough, and fortunate enough to be graced by the New York Auto Show with press passes and unfettered access to all the cars, trucks, and North American and Worldwide reveals the NYIAS has to offer. Below is a link to the website where we did a live blog the last two days. Included are some amazing shots of cars new for 2015, including the STi and Outback (which was worldwide released and I got to meet the president and CEO of Fuji Heavy Industries), as well as some really unique and fun concepts and a huge amount of consumer autos as well.
Some of the highlights for me will be detailed in a post-show wrap up next week, but a few sneek peeks will include: meeting and Interviewing Dyson Racing, team Bentley GT3; meeting and Interviewing Christian Von Koenigsegg, creator of the Koenigsegg car company; seeing many cars revealed to the public for the first time; and attending the World Car Awards ceremony where World Car of the Year was announced.
If you're interested, click on over to the site and check out some of the really cool new cars we'll be seeing on the road very soon. This was one of THE highlights of my life and we hope to bring you more coverage from next years show, events around the area, as well as possible racing coverage from pit lanes and beyond, in the future (fingeres crossed).
