    Kia Sports Coupe?

Here's a NYTimes article about a possible Kia sports coupe. Sounds like they are saying it's pretty certain but I think we can consider that a maybe. But a turbo'd 2.0L 4cyl motor is something I think we can all get behind.

Fine. But I hope it's not FWD.

Don't know too much about Kia but I don't think they have made anything other than FF, have they?

Meh. It's still a Kia...and if I see those damn hamsters driving it, I might punch a kitten in the face.

I don't like how edgy it looks, but luckily we all know when it hits the production model it will be toned down. I think if it offers a fun drive and 300+ whp, it may really be a competitor to the FRS/BRZ. Maybe that will make toyobaru change their minds about forced induction in the BRZ.

On the other hand, Kia makes nice 'looking' cars, but I have heard there are a lot of real quality issues that remain.

That was my thought too: direct competition for the BRZ. But maybe not so much if it's FWD. I liked the look of the interior but yea, obviously will be toned way down.

^ I doubt it will be FWD, but we'll see. They already did the FWD tuner thing.

It'll probably be based on a shorter wheel base version of the next gen genesis coupe
