I think both are correct - they call it Galaxy Blue Pearl but code it as GBS.

Placed my order today at Colonial Subaru in CT for a 2015 WRX Limited Automatic for me and my wife, so psyched!

The sales guy was helpful and even called a day ahead to let me know that the regional show car would be here today if I wanted to check it out, and check it out I did!

Also got to talk to the Subaru rep. whose had the enviable job of driving this sucker all over the North East for the past couple of weeks. He said and I quote "I love this car now. The BRZ used to be my favorite Subaru, and it's a great car. But this new WRX just has such power, it's really fun to drive. I drove for 5.5 hours on one trip, and it was not only comfortable with the new seats, but enjoyable."

And yes, that driver seat in leather was comfy. I knew I had to get a Limited after that.

Final price was $30, 200 was hard to talk him down, but we started at $31, 400. So basically I got the price of the CVT knocked off. Also got oil changes for a year and free set of snow tires, mount and balance.

I'd be happy with that deal! Good to know I might be able to get the Limited for around $30k

Wait you bought a wrx with a cvt?
“A WRX with a CVT is like porn without sex,” read the suicide note of Rex Fanboi of Fap Rock, Massachusetts, whose lifeless body was found behind the wheel of his 2009 WRX modded with a Maganflow exhaust, a totally epic wing, and tires he once described as having “enough grip to rip the panties off your grandma’s ass”.

    ha.

In truth though the use of the CVT does intrigue me. Ever since CVTs became more popular in the early 2000s, I've foreseen a performance application.
2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!

I'll be getting the CVT as well. I'd love a nice little write up once you get the chance from an everyday person. It would be nice to hear an unbiased daily driver type of review on it. Congrats, by the way!

Yes they are intriguing. From what I've read they are where things are going. You know I'm not really a hater. After all, I have already been driving basically a car with a cvt, twin scroll turbo, 274hp 269lb-ft four cylinder for two years now. Granted it's not the same as a 2015 wrx by a long shot but I'm ready for a proper 6 speed... Maybe in a stage 2 STi again.

Definitely will. As I said before, my wife will be taking it to work most days, and I'll be in my work truck. So it was either a CVT WRX or no WRX.

Congratulations on your order. I ordered mine yesterday, but they said it would be 3-4 months. My total was much more than yours though because I not only got the CVT limited like you, but also went with option 22, remote start, a/s mats, trunk tray, auto dim mirror with home, and arm rest. My total came out to $33k. I know, I could've got an sti, but I didn't want a stick or super harsh ride. Plus, I don't drive like an idiot or track anymore. I just want something fun and awd.
