Agreed. The WRX was NEVER a looker!

That's because it is ugly, keeping in stride with all Subarus since the dawn of time. Although I will say that the 4rd gen Legacy GT wagon is pretty smexy-looking, probably due to the fact that Subaru outsourced the styling to a European design house (whose name escapes me at the moment).

I'm still kicking myself for not buying one of those.

I don't think the wing will make much difference on a track and it is a bit "boy racer" not a status symbol, at least in my opinion.....

Yes. As quoted in the PR information package on Subaru's website, it can be had with or without.

Really disappointed with the 2015 WRX and how they discontinued the 2014 model...in 2014. Was going to purchase one when I graduate in May. Hoping I can still find a base model at a dealer around that time...

Sorry you are disappointed. However, most manufacturers do this. The 2014 model year will be dead in August-September of 2014. The new model year always starts before the actual end of the year. It's been that way for years. Subaru just did it a little early this year.

You should still be able to find a 2014 in May so don't be too worried. Plus at that time the 2014s that are left will likely have sales incentives attached to get them off the lot. Hope you're able to find something you like

Thanks for the positive vibes! Hoping what you mentioned will happen. Really like what Subaru did with the 2011-2014 models and if I can get my hands on one (preferably new) I'll be giddy as a school girl lol.

Like the 4500-5500 RPM range...?...as I assumed previously...probably needs an aftermarket tune right off the showroom floor again to smooth it out a bit.

This is very unfortunate for you. Considering the massive improvement Subaru has made for the 2015.

Are you speaking strictly from cosmetics? If so, I'd suggest a car not manufactured by Subaru.

Precisely. In the tuning world, that curve is not acceptable.

What do you think would be the cause of that strange curve? Is it a shift point in relation to the boost or just a strange A/F ratio?
