Looking at the HD picture... what I notice....the side mirrors looks thick and large :/ (where is the aero dynamics here?)
The hood scoop looks very 2014. No Change there...perhaps a few more aero dynamic lines that widen out. Front end appears to be squared off resembling the WRX concept. This angled top view shot makes it tuff to see how low the center body is any how wide it may be. (Something I look for particular in cars.)

So far for a tease it looks good. I'll be at the release party and will post some legit photos unless someone beats me to it. (Internet)

Thanks for sharing the post/link @ Upgrayedd

Perhaps more interesting news to confirm a couple things:
    Source: HouseofJapan.com
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Subaru set the expectation bar quite high this year with the release of the WRX Concept at the New York Auto Show, but subsequent sightings of prototype models testing out in the open snapped us back to the reality of the Impreza body-based WRX and WRX STI performance models. We'll still keep our fingers crossed for a future model built around the striking study.

The redesigned versions will debut in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show and go on sale in early 2014, adding that the Japanese carmaker will drop the hatchback and offer the sedan models only with a revamped version of its 2.5-liter turbocharged boxer unit.

Yeah 9 days...through all the speculation and all the falsities and everything else...I'm actually kind of excited to see what it will look like.

I like the scoop not sticking out so much, otherwise not so much... Excuse the wording here.

I mean its a slick enough looking car, but it shouldnt really be called a "WRX" I don't think. I can't picture that thing ever going off-road :/

All except the concept car, which was clearly impractical to put into production. So glad they differentiated the platform from the Impreza so that they could make something so different.

anyone gonna trade for a 15 wrx when its released or do you guys have the same feelings as myself, nervous becuase its a new design/ engine and want the bugs worked out before you buy. I dont want troubles like the people who bought 2008s or 2009s whatever the year was that had the issues.

I'm gonna wait at least a year, and for a hatch. My ex bought a 2014 Forester XT, and it had issues starting! They worked on it for a month, pulled the whole engine out, and it still had random issues. Definitely think it's worth waiting for the kinks to get worked out. They made so many changes on the 09 WRX over the 08, glad I waited.

Hahaha that was my thought exactly... I think they should have eliminated the WRX badge instead of the Impreza badge.

I'm definitely interested in the 6 speed trans, but I believe the BRZ was having issues with the new 2.0 (idling?) so it's probably safe to wait a bit.

The lack of WRB blue in that leaked image is disturbing. Any shoppers want to clean that up with some gold rims and an STI wing?

I guess the one thing we've learned from this is that Subaru's PR wing does not in fact ever come in contact with its design/engineering wings.
