I agree that it is watered down some. However, myself and I think one other person I saw who commented agreed that the production version and concept aren't that far off from each other in some areas. Is it as aggressive as the concept, not quite. But take a look at this front end at least... IMHO a lot of the concept transitioned over to the production model. Keep in mind that the concept photo was taken at a slightly lower angle, showing off the curves by the scoop giving it a bulgier look. Yes it's Silver vs classic WRC blue but I couldn't find a '15 production shot of the front end that had similar showroom lighting to highlight the curves and shadow lines.

Funny, last week when I first started looking at this car I didn't like it. Now I love it and I'm going to get one in the fall.

When they first unveiled I was kind of like... really? That's it? Now that I've seen it in different colors and angles, It's definitely grown on me. Can't wait to test drive come April.

It seems they changed something in the motor where it no longer has the distinctive rumble. Anyone know the specifics?

They've changed from ULH (unequal length headers) to ELH (equal " "). The ULHs gave the boxer its distinct rumble.

Thanks!!! Interesting that you explained the rumble at the same time via the ULH.

I have to agree with you, the back was changed quite a bit more. I think once I see one in person it will help really determine whether I like it or not. It is not "bad" however, going by the pictures I have seen, I prefer the current models. Of course, I am interested to see how the performance will compare to the current car as well.

    This^.
The change to ELH is said prevent some issues:

Also the ELH is a better choice for the twin scroll set up that is new on the 2015. The twin scroll set up results in a much improved power band.
