    +1.

Supercar? Good grief . Perhaps if we're comparing the WRX to performance figures from 30 years ago. I think the term "supercar" refers to a vehicle that makes few compromises for the sake of sheer performance, particularly when it comes to the cost of materials. The WRX and STi make many compromises.

I never get tired of this car - read a review before I got it - someone said it was a Supercar...and I agree.
I feel you! I got front end and drivers side mirror road rash the day I picked up the WRX from the dealership! Not 10 min later after getting on the expressway to head back to work, some idiot truck in front of me hits a bump and tar/rocks flew out an bounced up and hit me. I couldn't even get over to the other lane to avoid it either. I've recently picked up the touch-up paint and applied the best I could. I'm going to get Xpel paint protection film put on ASAP! I've been quoted $750 for hood/finder/mirrors/bumper and that includes labor. Has anyone here done this to their WRX and how does it look?

Also, could anyone here by chance send a pic or two of their EQ settings on the Navi/Harmon Kardon package? I've been messing around with it a little and can't seem to find a good balance preset with something I like.

I recently had CilaJet paint protectant spray put on the entire car and I had the whole front-end wrapped in Llumar Clear Bra. Here are 7 or so photos of what it looked like immediately afterward. I'll post more photos/reviews after a few weeks or so to see how it's held up. https://www.flickr.com/photos/31665569@N02/14518476430/

If you want a cost comparison here's what I paid:
The LLumar automotive tint, using Ceramic Film - $330.
    Cilajet sealant - $450.
Retail LLumar Paint Protection cost for the bumper - $475.
Retail LLumar Paint Protection cost for the full hood, fenders & mirrors - $855.

I was told the Xpel self healing Paint Protection film is 20% more than the above listed prices. So it sounds like you're getting a pretty good price. I went to one of the nicer detailing places in my city so I'm sure I paid for it. There's something comforting about pulling into the parking lot and seeing plenty of cars worth 4X the cost of my car. I know I'm not getting a shotty job.

Thanks for those pics Cee! It looks great and you can't even tell it's there (which is the goal. I don't have many options in the OKC area as Xpel Ultimate is my only choice (no 3M PPF dealers here). The guy I talked has some very nice and expensive cars come through the shop so I expect to see similar results as you I hope. Here's the guys I'm going with: Superior Concepts Thanks again for sharing those pics!
