Actually, it's not WRX vs. STi here Jeff. It's the Limited trims. Something about the leather. TheJ ordered his STi 2 weeks before I did, and took delivery of the car several months later. It seems to be popular belief that the STi isn't selling, but that's simply not true. The local dealership to me hasn't had a 2015 STi sit on the lot for more than a day (They've sold 15 STis and 40 WRXs).

STi sales are up 47% over last year.

I know, the dealerships here in Colorado are the same. I wish SOA could make more of them "faster" so that we would not have to wait so long when ordering.

Anticipation is the greatest marketing strategy ... scarcity keeps the buzz and folks ordering ... me thinks they will try and keep the tease as long as they can.

Let's make a few things clear here: SOA does not manufacture WRX and STis. They are merely allocating the sales.

Subaru had been increasing sales year over year for like 6 years straight. It's unheard of. I don't think they are throttling supply at all. Some of the issue is with transit times and available ports. The west coast gets cars way faster than the east.

Every review I see about the new WRX seems to be happy that it has a boost gauge. How does a boost gauge help drivers? I'm not being rude. I really have never seen a boost gauge before on other turbo cars and genuinely don't know how a driver is supposed to use the data. I'm sure it has something to do with best times to shift?

No, this is incorrect. SOA announced that the WRX/STi were under throttled allocations to fulfill increased demand for Forester/Outback.

I've tried searching for this and didn't find any info, hope you guys can help.

I'm trying to figure out how to get the car to lock the door automatically when you start moving. Our Accord does this and would like to see if the WRX can do this also.

    Thanks in advance!

PS. Still loving the car after 1000 miles!

Took the plunge and order my CWP WRX. My Acura RSX-S had a good run but with the clutch dying and living in Colorado I needed the AWD. She should be here end of September.
2015 Subaru WRX Base CWP (she is here and she is fun!)
2004 Acura RSX Type S (Probably put way to much money into this)

2015 WRX does not have that function.
