It's under the headliner on the right hand (passengers) side. Pop off the dome light cover and remove the two screws behind the lights. It's tucked away and taped in there.

Is it connected to anything or just a plug by itself?

If you have an auto-dim rear view mirror, it will be plugged into that. If not then it's by itself and bundled and taped. You'll have to stick your fingers in there to pull it out since it's hidden pretty well.

Well I still have no idea what I'm doing. Do not know how to read the Ground and Positive... Here is the loose connector I found up there...

If I were to guess ground is typically the all black, power is probably the red and yellow and the signal is the blue and green/yellow

Don't take any chances. Use a multimeter.

To be clear, the articles I'm seeing are talking about the 2016 wrx, not 2017...So that would mean body changes for the next outgoing model? Is this possible? Previously never sooner than 2 years...

(Or Perhaps 2016 release of 2017 model? That would make more sense...)

I would call back and ask another salesman if you can look up your order and maybe he/she will give you a VON (You won't receive a VIN until around 2 weeks (from what I've heard) from when the vehicle is to arrive).

Don't worry. You are only around 8 weeks from the time you ordered. You still have time.

You don't get a VIN right away! I ordered May 24th and got a VON a few days ago.

What are you smoking? "They will bump you if you pay cash or finance outside" - That's such a lie. Don't give the guy false information.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease a bit, 96accord I was almost having an anxiety attack from what Rex was telling me. This past Monday, I called the dealership and spoke with the manager about it and he looked up the order I placed on April 12 and gave me a VON! He told me that the salesman shouldn't have told me to expect it now and that he showed it arriving on or around July 7th. That would put it within the 12 weeks just as you said. Fingers crossed!
