    Can someone take a picture of their WRX with a short throw...Mine is supposed to have it, but it feels like the normal shifter. I want to make sure the dealer didn't shaft me.

    Look at the Subaru msrp poster. Mine came from factory. Showed me both order invoice and I have the price poster

    It's not possible to order them as a replacement when you make your car order, but most parts departments can order them separately. They will be silly expensive from a dealer though. I bought mine through a forum. Since there aren't that many available right now, they aren't all that cheap.

    I see it on the sticker, but wanted to see what the difference was from the standard shifter to the short throw.

    I dont think it looks any different. The "short" aspect of it refers to the distance traveled for each gear change, not the height of shaft/knob. Unless you take off the shift boot and look underneath, it is hard to tell.

    Thanks, the last time I installed a Short Shifter, it was like 10 years ago and I seem to have forgotten those days...not sure it if it was intentionally or not...I can't remember

    Ordered WRX Limited ISM with Short Shifter and Auto-dim Mirror on 06/06/14. My delivery eta is the last week of October!!! Bah
