It's a stairway to madness - first it's M/C spaces, then disabled ones, next you'll be driving right through the revolving door into the building :|

All that for a WHITE car. Pfff.

in the past some people have asked about carrying young kids in the car. I took my 5 day old in it yesterday and there were absolutely no complaints from her. We were late for an appointment and my wife ask something like "how is it that you have a sports car yet you are driving so slowly?". About 5 seconds later she wish she'd kept quiet - and the baby still didn't stir! No, I didn't go crazy before anyone gets the wrong idea

So yeah, it's fine for babies. I am not sure that I would take a long road trip with such a young child, but the ride is certainly compliant enough that I could if I needed to. My 4 year old has no complaints and likes it better than the Forester (but that could be because of the satellite radio!).

Does anyone know the part number for the rear spoiler? My dealer tells me that I cannot get the spoiler installed because Subaru doesn't have a part number.... This doesn't make sense because I do recall someone here who had a spoiler installed by a dealer on their base model.... Please help me!

    Wow, 5-DAY old, eh? Congrats!

I carted around both of mine in the back of the bugeye when needed. No big deal. Kids adapt to what you give them. Treat them like dainty little petunias, and they'll grow up to be dainty little petunias. Mine push thousand pound horses around for a hobby. I'm grateful that they chose that.

For those who've picked up their 2015 STIs, what did you pay compared to Invoice/MSRP? I'm going to pick mine up tomorrow and I'm not sure how much to haggle. Here's the details:
    2015 Launch Edition
    My Price: $39,296
Total amount out the door (loan + down payment): $42,251

And here's what I saw when I looked it up w/ the package:
    Invoice: $36,766
    MSRP: $39,181
    True Market Value: $38,796

Should I try to at least get MSRP or just pay it? Seems like a fair price. Also I'm in Ohio if that matters.

So do these usually snap into place or am I going to be getting into extra wiring. It does feel nice that I will be customizing this car to be mine though.
It's not a simple plug and play, any kit that claims to be plug and play isn't the real deal and is typically illegal in most states. To convert from Halo assemblies to HID, there will have to be some wiring as you need to install the proper ballast mechanisms to pair to the assemblies. They can be quite expensive, not sure how you will get these from Subaru directly (maybe?) , maybe aftermarket? Either way, you'll probably have to wait a while. If you do end up converting over, I'd take it to a shop to be safe and make sure it's hooked up the right way.

FWIW I think the guy above was talking about Launch Edition as compared to the standard STi. I believe the special release with the nice bits including gold wheels should command a bit of a premium over the normal ones.

I called several large online Subaru part companies and they don't have the parts or part numbers yet.. Probably will be soon.
