Breaking: £3.1 Million Lamborghini Veneno Leaked?

It appears as though Lamborghini’s secret Geneva Motor Show 2013 release has been uncovered. The Lamborghini Veneno appears in a picture taken from a soon-to-be released magazine. The photo reveals quite a few vital details about the car. Question is, is it real or is it all speculative rumours?
According to the text that surrounds the image, the Lamborghini Veneno will get the Lamborghini Aventador’s 6.5 litre V12 powerplant. It will produce an impressive 740hp for a top speed of 220mph. What’s more, the Veneno will apparently take its philosophy directly from the Sesto Elemento.

The word Veneno apparently translates into Poison in Spanish. The Lamborghini Venano has the underpinnings of a Lamborghini Aventador, complete with carbon fibre monocoque.
The price is set at £3.1 million with just 3 scheduled for production at Lamborghini’s new facility. All three Lamborghini Veneno have already been sold and will feature a green, white or red colour scheme, the colours of the Italian flag.

I like many Lambos, but this one seems like the product of a team of 8-year-old boys, trying to cram as many slots, wings, swoops and inlets onto a car body as possible.

Boring, derivative, and dreary. Would be a huge hit at SEMA or other such kitsch-fests. Shame.

Meh, doesn't seem all that special to me. This new style of hyper-angular Lambo was amazing and original for the Reventon (and before that, the Countach), but now it's... boring?

The initial Countach was much better looking than the Anniversary (late) model, because by that time they'd succumbed to the same sort of idiocy on display here. When it first came out the angularity was striking and attractive. In fact the Countach was even more attractive when it was an Alfa Romeo, not a Lambo, car -- the nose and doors were there, the rest was more elegant.

The only thing missing above would be matte black paint on some parts, and unpainted CF on others. Then, as a wise man once said, their failure would be complete.

The last attractive Lambo left the factory in the 90s -- about the time their current target audience were born.
