    Well, not being luxurious but at least having some better quality plastic and fit/finish won't hurt. Compared to a car that's below $20k and has the same quality of build and feel to a $25K car, it's probably one of the biggest issues for most people buying a car north of $25k.

    Then they're the wrong demographic for the car, IMO. When I did my homework on the car before purchase, I knew and accepted that Subaru put their money into drivetrain and other enthusiast-related parts of the car, rather than nicer plastics, etc. People who buy the car and then complain about an interior are a little bit of a mystery for me...you get to see that part of the equation the first time you sit in it at the dealer. Why did you buy it if that was important to you?

    I would prefer performance and reliability over nicer plastics on the interior any day of the week. It has been my experience that anyone that has owned a Subaru and hasn't fallen in love with it has little to no personality. LOL

    My wife and I love our Suby so much that we are buying two new ones in the near future.
